How it works

A confidential process, managed by a person.

You are not submitting your business to an algorithm or a listing site. We review your client base, discuss what you want to achieve and give you an indication of value. If you decide to proceed, we identify suitable buyers and manage the introductions confidentially.

  • 50+ active buyers
  • Confidential process
  • No seller fee
  • No obligation

The process

Four steps.

  1. 01

Tell us about your client base

A short confidential form with some basic information. Nothing that identifies a client.

  2. 02

    We review the book

We look at the revenue mix, size and characteristics of the client base and discuss what it may be worth.

  3. 03

    You decide whether to proceed

There is no obligation to sell. You can simply use the appraisal to understand your position.

  4. 04

    We identify suitable buyers

If you decide to explore a sale, we identify relevant buyers from our network. Nothing is shared without your approval.

Confidentiality

What happens after I submit my details?

Step by step, so there are no surprises.

  1. Your enquiry is reviewed privately.
  2. We contact you to discuss the client base.
  3. We may ask for additional information to refine the appraisal.
  4. We discuss an indicative value and potential sale options.
  5. If you want to proceed, we agree on the next step.
  6. Suitable buyers may then be approached.
  7. Your identity and confidential information are not released without your approval.

Submitting an appraisal request does not put your business on the market.

Buyer selection

Buyer selection matters more than buyer count.

We work with an established network of more than 50 buyers looking for financial advice client bases across New Zealand.

The highest-value buyer is not necessarily the first or the closest. Matching your book to the buyers most likely to want it is usually what makes the difference — to the price, and to how smoothly the transition goes.

Buyers differ on

  • Book type
  • Location
  • Client demographics
  • Revenue size
  • Provider mix
  • Acquisition size
  • Transition structure

Transaction examples

Recent transactions.

We will publish anonymised examples of completed transactions here — book type, approximate recurring revenue, region, reason for sale, buyer demand and how the transaction was structured.

Examples to follow.

Nothing is published without the seller’s permission, and no identifying details are ever included.

Start with a confidential appraisal.

Four questions about your client base, two about what you are considering, and your contact details. Nothing more at this stage.

You do not have to start with the form. If you would rather have an informal conversation first, email us.
